Layouts and Skins

Layouts

The page layout is the part of graphic design that deals in the arrangement and style treatment of the content elements on a page. In most cases the content is divided in so called columns which are used to characterize the layouts on one column, two column, three column and etc. Further a layout defines and some specific areas (regions) where content could be placed, such as header, content, footer, sidebar, top navigation and etc.

In WordFrame Integra you can pack in a single user interface package unlimited number of different layout variations. The selected layout will be paired with a skin in the page managing master page.

As an example you can have the following:

Skins

The page skin is defining the colors, fonts and overall "Look & Feel" of the page. There could be unlimited number of skins in a single UI package, but you can use only one at a time. Both skins and layouts are managed by the master page's user interface settings.
