public Exclude a server from the front-end cluster
The front-end server hardware could fail or be shut down without any additional actions. The system will continue to work without problems, but background jobs that were already marked for processing by the failing server will be aborted and possibly executed only partially or not at all. To prevent this from happening follow this procedure:
- Log in to the WordFrame Integra Core Administration
- Click on the "Architect" tab in the upper left corner
- Click on the "Platform monitoring" menu in the main navigation bar
- Click on the "Cluster members" link in the "Front-end cluster" section on the left of the screen
- Click the corresponding "disable" link of the server you want to exclude from the cluster
- Wait until there are no more running jobs by this server (you can monitor the "Jobs queue") and shut down the webserver or the wordframe integra application.
