public Select and customize the default locale
The locale is set as default, it will be always used in the WordFrame Core Administration shell and will be the default for all installed applications, when they place their content in the public site. The locale can be further customized from the following place (ordered by priority from top to bottom):
- Master page user interface settings
- Application localization settings
- WordFrame Core Global settings (this screen)
Override the default locale settings
The default settings of the locale are provided by the webserver' operational system, but you can override them by following these steps:
- Log in to the WordFrame Integra Core Administration
- Click on the "Architect" tab in the upper left corner
- Click on the "Global settings" menu in the main navigation bar
- Click on the "Regional settings" link in the "Web settings" section on the left of the screen
- Click on the "customize" link corresponding to the locale you want to edit
- Edit the date, time and number format settings according to your needs
- Press the "Save" button
Default platform locale
- Select as default
- If selected, these settings will be the default ones for the platform. There could be only one default locale, so the previous one will be deselected.
Date and time formats
- Time
- Set the default format for presenting time
- Short date format
- Set the default format for presenting short dates
- Long date format
- Set the default format for presenting long dates
- Week starts
- On which day the week starts
Short and long dates are used as references for the development methods that present dates
Number format
- Decimal symbol
- Customize whether to use dot or comma as a decimal symbol
- Digit grouping
- Set the digit grouping style
- Digit grouping symbol
- Set whether to use space or comma as a digit grouping symbol
When "Web server default" option is selected for one of the formats, the regional settings of the webserver will be used as the default one. If they are changed, the platform settings will be also be changed.
