public Software package details

To view the package details you need to click on the package name in the Software manager grid. New row will appear inside it which will present the following information about the package:

XML tagDescription
package name the package name. Set by the author. The naming convention is vendor-package_name. The name is set by the author.
summary brief description of the package. It is set by the author.
description long description of the package. It is set by the author.
author The name of the vendor and/or developer that created the package.
copyright Vendor or person that holds the copyrights
license Under which license the package is distributed
creation-date when the package was created
signature Displays whether the package signature is valid, the name of its vendor and if this vendor is in the list of the trusted vendors.
category A list of categories under which this package needs to be presented in the repositories
type the ID type of the package. The package types currently are: application, webframes, user interface, language and utilities. The available types are predefined by the WordFrame team.
change-log list of all changes and the corresponding releases in a special XML format. Will include all released versions of the package. It is set by the author.
dependencies A list of packages which need to be installed also if this package is already installed
major-version an integer representing the package version. The package build is according to the following convention - major-version.minor-version.release-version (ex. 1.0.1). The major-version is set by the author.
minor-version an integer representing the package subversion. It is set by the author.
release-version an integer representing the package release. It is set by the author.
size the size of the whole package in MB. Showed to the user as part of the expected download size on the last step of the software packages management. It is defined by the author.
